Large Format Printing Edmonton

A Taste of the North confectionary trailer wrapped in a large format printed northern lights and tipi scene running the full length of the body

Large-format printing is the production capability that underpins most of what we do. The wraps, the murals, the banners, the signage all share the same printer, the same inks, the same operators. This page covers the printing service for jobs where you need the print itself (not a wrap installed on a vehicle or a mural installed on a wall): a banner, a poster, a trade-show backdrop you'll mount yourself.

How a print project goes

  1. Send your file. Vector preferred; raster at print-resolution acceptable. If you don't have artwork, the in-house designer can build it (design fee separate).
  2. Proofing. We email a digital proof showing the print at scale with bleed and trim marks. Two rounds of revisions included.
  3. Production. 3–5 business days for standard work. Same-day and rush available for an additional fee.
  4. Finishing. Banners are hemmed and grommeted; mounted prints are trimmed to size; stand graphics are cut and assembled.
  5. Pickup or delivery. Most print work is pickup. We deliver in Edmonton for $25–$50 depending on order size and location.

Common questions

How big can you print?

Up to 60 inches (1.52 m) wide in a single sheet. Larger jobs get seamed. For a banner that's 8 ft tall, the seam runs horizontally. For wall murals, the seam can be planned to fall at an inconspicuous point in the design.

What file format should I send?

Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) are best for logos, text, and any geometric design. Raster files (TIFF, PNG, JPG) are acceptable at 100+ dpi at final print size. A 6-foot-wide banner needs source imagery around 7,200 pixels wide for 100 dpi.

Can you match my brand colour exactly?

Standard CMYK printing matches most digital-screen colours closely but not exactly. For critical brand colours (corporate identity reds, blues, etc.), Pantone-matched printing reproduces the specified PMS colour as accurately as our printer allows. $35 per spot colour per job.

How long do prints last outdoors?

Eco-solvent and latex UV inks: 2–3 years outdoor unlaminated, 3–5 years laminated. Banner vinyl is rated for outdoor use; mesh vinyl extends life in high-wind environments. Indoor prints last indefinitely under normal lighting.

Can I bring in my own material to print on?

Generally no. We print on materials we stock and have profiled for our printers. Bringing your own substrate risks colour and adhesion failure. Exceptions for unusual jobs are possible; ask on quote day.

Do you do rush jobs?

Yes. Same-day to 24-hour turnaround possible for standard banner work, depending on shop schedule. Rush fee is typically 25–50% of base price. Send the job and tell us your deadline; we'll confirm what's possible.

What about colour bleeds and trim marks?

Send files with 0.25″ bleed on all sides for printed products with edge-to-edge content. Trim marks are helpful but not required (we'll add our own if missing). Banner files: add 2″ extra on each end for the hem.
